Driving in the Swiss Alps

Many of us dream of driving in the swiss alps at some point in our lifetime. However its not as easy as you may sometimes think to drive in the Alps....

Driving the swiss alps....

It is NOT always sunny, the weather can change very quickly so it can happen that on one side of the tunnel it is nice and sunny and on the other side it is raining.

The road surfaces are always different, sometimes there are stones in the road, sometimes water. Always be aware that wild animals can also be crossing the roads especially early in the morning and at night.

HOT TOPIC: "Crossing the solid white line whilst in the alps can create very dangerous sitiuations...."

Just remeber that we are not alone on the roads and just be aware of your surroundings at all times when you are in the swiss alps.

ALSO: The swiss police are strict... the do not care that some one us can afford the fine. They can and will make sure that our bank accounts or legs in some cases pay the price.

PS: with the legs i meant.... using a bicycle because they will take away your drivers license :-(
